Once you've mastered the hieroglyphs in HieroNote V3.0, you will be able to understand and decipher many of the carvings on monuments, obelisks, papyrii, etc.

The help file includes all of the catagories created by Sir Alan Gardiner. These groupings or categories make it easier to decipher the hieroglyphs while seeing them in the field, on monuments, stele, papyrus, paintings, etc.

A Transliteration chart is also included. This chart indicates the characters used by scholars to write or type the sounds represented by the hieroglyphs.
